A community development organization

There are over 2400 self-sustaining sober houses in this country using the Oxford model. More than 20,000 individuals in these recovery houses at any one time and 35,000 throughout the year following three basic principles:

-Democratically self-run

-Financially self-sustained

-Expels anyone who return to using drugs or alcohol

​

In Hutchinson there are 10 Oxford Houses providing 98 beds.
