Noel Lodge -Emergency Overnight Shelter

Noel Lodge is New Beginnings’ 30‑day emergency overnight shelter, offering a safe, low‑barrier place to rest for individuals experiencing homelessness in Reno County. Each evening, guests are welcomed into a clean, secure environment where they can access basic necessities, supportive staff, and a dignified space to stabilize.

Our team focuses on safety, respect, and connection. While staying at Noel Lodge, guests can meet with staff to explore housing options, receive referrals to community resources, and take steps toward long‑term stability. The shelter operates in alignment with HUD Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) standards, ensuring fair access, trauma‑informed practices, and a strong focus on helping each person move toward permanent housing.

Noel Lodge is more than a place to sleep — it’s a first step toward a new beginning.

The Center is New Beginnings’ six‑month housing program designed for individuals rebuilding their lives after a homeless crisis, including those affected by substance use disorder.

The Center provides a safe, stable place to live while residents continue to work toward stability. Each resident receives necessary case management, recovery support, and life‑skills training in a community‑oriented environment. The program is built on the understanding that homelessness and substance use often share the same root causes—trauma, instability, isolation, and loss.

Residents at The Center have access to SMART Recovery, AA and NA meetings, financial literacy support, and referrals to medical, mental health, and employment services through community partners. The first two months of the program can be fee‑free while participants stabilize and establish income, with modest service fees beginning in month three to support budgeting and independence. There is subsidy for people waiting on disability.

The Center is a place where individuals can regain stability, rebuild confidence, and take meaningful steps toward a new beginning.
